# Probation period for Verifiers

** All Verifiers are subject to a probation period while they verify their first 10 questions.** This period ensures that the Verification role meets both your expectations and LawY's expectations. LawY reserves the right to extend the probationary period.

1. During the probation period, new Verifiers:
   
   Must not undertake verification work exceeding the total monthly amount of **$5,000** (in your local currency) or **5 questions**, whichever is higher. The balance of any amount exceeding $5,000 or 5 questions, will not be paid, unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to the commencement of work.
2. Are limited to **one** practice area and region (if applicable), unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. After successfully completing the probation period and receiving written confirmation from a LawY representative, Verifiers will no longer be subject to the conditions outlined in points (1) and (2) above.
